Bodrum · Kekova · Göcek — The Full Passage
Ten nights and 210 nautical miles down Turkey's Turquoise Coast, from the harbour bars of Bodrum to the pine-fringed islands of Göcek. The route takes its time: mornings anchored in empty bays, afternoons under sail past headlands that haven't changed in centuries, evenings ashore in fishing villages where dinner is whatever came in that day. At its heart lies Kekova, where a Lycian city slipped into the sea after an earthquake and its foundations still lie in clear water beneath the hull. Beyond it, Kaş, Fethiye's Twelve Islands, and finally the sheltered anchorages of Göcek — arguably the finest cruising ground in the Mediterranean.

Bodrum (Milta Marina)
Your voyage begins at Bodrum, where the great honey-stone walls of the Castle of St Peter rise directly above the berth. Spend the afternoon settling aboard, then head ashore to explore the waterfront promenade, the colourful bazaar lanes and the seafront restaurants that make Bodrum one of the most animated ports on the Turkish Aegean.

Day 2
Knidos
Leaving Bodrum behind, the gulet rounds the peninsula and makes for Knidos, perched dramatically at the very tip of the Datca peninsula. You anchor in one of the double bays amid the scattered remains of a Greek city — amphitheatre, temple plinths and a lighthouse — with the afternoon given over to swimming in the shelter of the ruins and watching the sun sink into the Aegean from a setting that few places on this coast can equal.

Day 3
Datca
A short morning sail brings you into Datca, the unhurried main town of the peninsula, where twin bays frame a harbour lined with cafés and bars. This is a day for wandering through the almond-and-olive backstreets at your own pace, swimming off the town beaches and watching local life unfold along the quay.

Day 4
Ciftlik Bay
The gulet crosses towards Marmaris Bay today, dropping anchor in Ciftlik Bay, a wide, sheltered sweep of sand with shallow, pale-coloured water ideal for an unhurried afternoon. Beach restaurants line the shore, and the calm conditions make it a fine spot for a long swim before an easy evening at anchor.

Day 5
Sarsala Bay (Sarsala Koyu)
Sailing on into the Gulf of Fethiye, you reach Sarsala Bay, a broad, sandy-bottomed anchorage backed by a quiet pine forest. The water here takes on a vivid, deep-blue tone, the bay is rarely crowded, and a seasonal beach restaurant ashore offers a simple lunch — making this an ideal interlude on the passage south.

Day 6
Butterfly Valley (Kelebekler Vadisi)
Butterfly Valley is one of the most striking anchorages on the Lycian Coast: a sheer-walled canyon, enclosed by cliffs rising some 350 metres, that can only be reached by sea. The gulet anchors off the beach, giving guests the afternoon to snorkel along the base of the cliffs, spot the dozens of butterfly species that inhabit the valley, or follow the trail winding up to the waterfall at its head.
Day 7
Yeşilköy Limanı
Today's passage continues east along the Lycian shore to Yeşilköy Limanı, a deep and well-protected bay situated between Kaş and Kalkan. A couple of simple shore restaurants provide a relaxed lunch setting, and the reliable holding ground means you can swim from the boat in unhurried comfort before pressing on along this spectacular stretch of coastline.

Day 8
Kekova Island (Tersane Bay)
The gulet rounds into the sheltered waters of Kekova Roads and anchors in Tersane Bay, on the northern shore of Kekova Island. The remnants of a Byzantine shipyard and the apse of a ruined church sit right at the waterline, half-submerged alongside the famous sunken city, offering a quietly extraordinary backdrop for snorkelling and an afternoon spent simply drifting in calm, clear water.

Day 9
Kalkan Harbour & Town
A short sail from Kekova brings you to Kalkan, a handsome hillside town of whitewashed Greek-Ottoman houses that step down to a compact harbour. The gulet berths or anchors off for the evening, allowing guests to climb the narrow streets at leisure and settle in for a long dinner at one of the rooftop restaurants as the last light fades over the bay.

Day 10
Ölüdeniz (Blue Lagoon)
Sailing back along the coast, the gulet arrives at Ölüdeniz, where the famous Blue Lagoon unfolds beneath the great mass of Babadağ — a sheltered, spit-enclosed stretch of water in striking shades of turquoise and emerald. Paragliders drift silently overhead as you anchor off Belcekız beach for a long, leisurely swim in one of the most photographed settings on the entire Turkish coastline.
Day 11
Göcek (Club Marina)
The final morning brings a gentle sail into Göcek, where the gulet berths at Club Marina amid a fringe of pine trees on the edge of the calm, island-studded waters of Skopea Limanı. Farewells are said over a last breakfast aboard, and guests disembark with the unhurried rhythms of the past ten days still very much in the air.
