Elena represents the finest traditions of Turkish gulet construction, launched in 2006 from the renowned Fethiye shipyard of Hamdi Tüfekçi. This 23-metre vessel showcases exceptional craftsmanship with her laminated construction method and premium Sapelli mahogany hull, keel, ribs, and interior joinery. Her 6-metre beam provides generous living spaces while maintaining the classic proportions that define authentic gulet design.
Following a comprehensive refit in 2020, Elena combines time-honoured aesthetics with modern reliability. Her twin steel masts rise 20 metres above deck, supporting a classic sail plan of furling genoa, furling main, and mizzen that harks back to centuries of Mediterranean tradition. The elegant Burmese teak deck provides the perfect stage for leisurely days under sail or at anchor.
Powered by a robust IVECO Marine 360HP engine, Elena maintains steady cruising speeds between 8 and 11 knots, supported by comprehensive navigation equipment including Garmin GPS and radar systems. Her engineering reflects practical luxury with 5,000 litres of fresh water capacity, multiple refrigeration units, and efficient 22kVA Mitsubishi generator. Ten solar panels demonstrate her commitment to sustainable cruising.
Elena's interior spaces celebrate the warm richness of mahogany craftsmanship throughout, creating an atmosphere of understated elegance that perfectly complements her traditional exterior lines. Every detail reflects the master shipwright's dedication to creating a vessel that honours both heritage and comfort.
The Onboard Experience
Traditional Elegance Afloat
Where authentic Turkish craftsmanship meets timeless Mediterranean charm.
Elena's deck spaces flow naturally from bow to stern, with her traditional layout offering multiple areas for relaxation and entertainment. The spacious aft deck provides the perfect setting for alfresco dining, while forward areas invite quiet contemplation as the bow cuts through azure waters. Her classic wheelhouse maintains both interior and exterior steering positions, allowing seamless integration between traditional sailing and modern convenience.
The vessel's amenities focus on essential comfort rather than excess. Four separate refrigeration units ensure provisions stay fresh throughout extended cruises, while an electric oven and comprehensive galley equipment support the preparation of memorable meals. An ice machine adds convenience for sunset cocktails, and the washing machine ensures guests can pack light for longer voyages.
For those seeking adventure beyond the deck, Elena provides twin canoes for exploring secluded coves and shallow bays inaccessible to larger vessels. Her hydraulic windlass and twin 115kg anchors ensure secure holding in the most beautiful anchorages, while comprehensive safety equipment including life raft and jackets provides peace of mind for all aboard.
