Built in 2009 by Arkin Pruva Argos Y in Turkey, this remarkable vessel was designed and built combining the best of Turkish and New Zealand boatbuilding know-how, creating what is truly a world's first.
Measuring 42.5 metres in length with an impressive 8.5-metre beam and 3.5-metre draft, Daima possesses all the performance characteristics of a modern superyacht while maintaining a traditional hull design that lends her a classically elegant air. Her twin Caterpillar C12 DITA engines, each producing 490 horsepower, provide a comfortable cruising speed of 10 knots with a maximum speed of 12 knots, while her moderate fuel consumption of 250 litres per hour ensures extended range for memorable passages.
Following her comprehensive 2023 refit, Daima showcases hi-tech rigging and advanced sail systems that ensure exciting and memorable passages under sail, while her twin engines swiftly deliver guests to the next enchanting destination. The yacht's sophisticated power systems include two 44kW Onan generators synchronised to produce 88kW, plus a dedicated 22kW harbour generator for quiet overnight comfort.
