Built in 2008 at a Croatian shipyard, Altair stands as a remarkable testament to Mediterranean craftsmanship, being the only cruising sailing ship built entirely in Croatia. This 24.5-metre vessel represents a distinctive blend of traditional gulet design elements and contemporary marine technology, with her 7.5-metre beam providing exceptional stability and generous living spaces. Her construction combines the elegance of Croatian sailing heritage with modern engineering, featuring twin 235hp engines and a shallow 2.2-metre draft that allows access to secluded bays and intimate anchorages.
Altair underwent a comprehensive refit in 2019, introducing dual air conditioning systems throughout, refreshed interior décor with designer benches and decorative cushions, new irok deck surfaces, and completely renewed bedding including sheets, duvets, and towels. The bathrooms were updated with pristine white tiles, while new refrigerators and an outdoor grill enhanced the onboard dining experience. Her impressive fuel capacity of 7,500 litres and substantial 17,000-litre water tank ensure extended cruising autonomy along the Dalmatian coast.
The yacht's design philosophy centers on authentic Croatian character, evident in her traditional lines paired with teak and steel construction. Her classic deck layout features a generous forward sunbathing area adorned with comfortable sun mattresses and a cushioned sofa, while the aft deck hosts an elegant alfresco dining area perfect for Mediterranean evenings. Blue awnings with mosquito nets provide flexible weather protection, with the option to fully enclose areas during storms.

Wooden floors and stylish furniture establish a warm, comfortable atmosphere throughout, while Wi-Fi connectivity keeps guests connected when desired. The fully equipped galley features professional-grade ovens, grill, multiple refrigerators, and deep freezers, supporting the talented chef in creating memorable meals.
The outdoor spaces truly define the Altair experience. Her proven deck layout provides a generous forward sunbathing area complete with sun mattresses, pillows, and a comfortable sofa where guests can enjoy full sun or retreat to shaded relaxation while admiring the ever-changing Dalmatian scenery. The aft deck's alfresco dining area becomes the heart of evening gatherings, complemented by the option of indoor dining in the elegant, air-conditioned salon.

Altair accommodates twelve guests across six thoughtfully designed cabins, each approximately 9 square metres and featuring private en-suite bathrooms with shower boxes, modern amenities including shampoo, soap, and fresh towels. Four spacious double cabins offer comfortable double beds, while two twin cabins provide flexible sleeping arrangements with twin beds that can be converted as needed. Each cabin includes a wardrobe, 24V/220V electricity, hair dryer, and air conditioning available up to 12 hours per day.
The accommodation design emphasizes comfort and privacy, with separate crew quarters ensuring guests enjoy complete tranquility. Quality bedding, including fresh bed sheets, is included, along with one beach towel per person per week and two bathroom towels per person per week. Additional towels are available upon request, while the comprehensive recent refit ensures all linens, duvets, covers, and pillows meet the highest standards.
