Amazon Solo

Amazon Solo was made for the Turkish Riviera. Based out of Göcek — the jewel of the Fethiye Gulf and a natural harbour sheltered by forested hills and dotted with pine-fringed islands — she ranges freely across one of the world's most celebrated cruising grounds. From Göcek, a morning's sail brings guests to the ancient Lycian coast, where sunken cities lie just below the waterline at Kekova, and the ruins of Tlos and Patara wait beyond the treeline. The Gulf of Hisarönü unfolds to the west, its secretive bays and oyster-farming villages offering a quieter, more contemplative pace of discovery.

Westward, the waters around Marmaris and the Datça Peninsula open into the broader Aegean, where the wind builds and Amazon Solo's schooner rig comes into its own. The Bozburun Peninsula hides some of the coast's most unspoiled anchorages — Selimiye, Bozburun village, the abandoned Byzantine ruins of Loryma — accessible to a vessel of Amazon Solo's draft and local knowledge. To the east, the turquoise lagoon of Ölüdeniz, the ghost town of Kayaköy, and the lantern-lit quayside of Kaş offer contrasts of natural wonder and living culture that few coastal destinations in the world can rival.
