Her Story

Ceylan is a 20 metre gulet, built in 2004 and refitted in 2010, with a beam of 5 metres and a draft of 2 metres. Her shallow draft and compact proportions suit the coves and bays of the Turkish coast, where a smaller vessel can come close to the shore and anchor in quiet water. She is a traditional gulet in scale and character, designed for unhurried days at sea rather than long passages.

She carries up to six guests across three guest cabins, with a crew of three attending to the boat throughout the charter. The guest accommodation is arranged to give each party its own space, and the crew's presence means that the day can be shaped around the rhythm of the group, whether that means an early swim, a long lunch at anchor or an afternoon spent on the water.

Ceylan's home port is Fethiye, on the southwestern coast of Türkiye, and her cruising is confined to Turkish waters. The region offers sheltered bays, clear water and a steady succession of anchorages, which makes it well suited to a guest who wishes to spend time in the sea as much as on the deck.

Her overall character is practical and comfortable. She is not a vessel of ostentation but of good sense, with a layout and equipment list chosen for the pleasures of a week spent afloat on a coast that rewards patience and curiosity.

The Onboard Experience

Time on the Water

Equipment for swimming, paddling and fishing from her deck.

Ceylan carries a full set of snorkelling gear for exploring the shallows around each anchorage, and a set of fishing gear for those who prefer to wait patiently for a bite. Both are available from the boat, so that the time spent in the water or over the stern can be as relaxed or as active as the day requires.

For paddling, she carries one kayak and one stand-up paddleboard. The kayak suits a steady exploration of a quiet cove, while the paddleboard offers a gentler way to pass an hour near the boat. Together they make the small bays and sheltered inlets of the coast easy to reach without the need for a tender run.

Guest Accommodation

Three Cabins, Six Guests

One master cabin and two double cabins.

Ceylan has three guest cabins in total. The master cabin is the largest of the three and is intended for the principal guests, while the two double cabins provide comfortable accommodation for the remainder of the party. Between them the three cabins sleep up to six guests.

Full details of each cabin's bathroom arrangements and deck position are available on request, and the team at Exclusive Gulets can advise on the layout that best suits your group.
