Her Story

Golden Joy is a gulet of 20 metres in length and 6 metres in beam, with a draught of 2 metres, which allows her to move easily through the bays and anchorages of the Turkish coast. Built in 1992 and refitted in 2016, she has a settled, well-kept character that suits guests who value space and quiet over display. She accommodates up to eight guests across four guest cabins.

Her home port is Bodrum, and she cruises the waters of Türkiye, where the coastline, coves and islands form the heart of each itinerary. Her teak deck and sun deck give guests room to spend the day outdoors, while a sun shade, or bimini, offers shelter when the sun is at its strongest.

The interior is equipped with air conditioning and a seating area, and a bar serves the dining and social spaces. A sound system and Wi-Fi keep the evenings relaxed and connected, and the pace of the day is easy to set around the water.

Water sports and exploration are central to life aboard. Scuba diving gear, fishing gear, a canoe and a stand-up paddleboard are carried on board, so guests can take to the water whenever the mood suits them.

Golden Joy carries scuba diving gear and fishing gear for those who wish to explore beneath the surface or cast a line from the deck. A canoe and a stand-up paddleboard, known as SUP, allow guests to move quietly along the shoreline at their own pace, while the teak deck and sun deck provide space for lounging between swims.

Life on board is supported by air conditioning throughout the interior, a seating area, and a dining table on deck. A bar serves drinks at the end of the day. A sound system and Wi-Fi keep music and connectivity close at hand, and a collection of board games and books offers quieter diversions. A sun shade, or bimini, shelters the deck through the warmest hours.
