Her Story

Kayhan 8 is a 30-metre gulet, built in 1997 and refitted in 2008, based in Fethiye on the Turkish Aegean coast. Her traditional character is matched by a practical, comfortable layout designed for a party of up to twelve guests, with six guest cabins and a crew of four attending to every detail of the charter.

Her length and accommodation make her well suited to families and small groups of friends who wish to share a single vessel without sacrificing privacy. Each guest cabin is en suite, so the day begins and ends without any need to queue for facilities, and the crew manage the cruise with quiet attentiveness.

Kayhan 8 cruises the waters of Türkiye, where the coastline offers sheltered coves, clear water for swimming and small harbours to explore on foot. Her home port of Fethiye is the natural starting point for itineraries along this stretch of coast, and the itinerary can be shaped around the interests and pace of those on board.

The Onboard Experience

Time on the Water

A considered selection of equipment for days spent in and around the sea.

For time in the water, Kayhan 8 carries snorkelling gear and a kayak, along with a stand-up paddleboard, or SUP, for those who prefer a quieter glide across the bay. Sun loungers on the deck provide a place to rest between swims, and the aft seating area offers a further spot for relaxing as the coastline passes by.

Fishing gear is also on board, so guests may try their hand from the stern at a gentle pace. In the saloon, air conditioning and a comfortable seating area keep the living spaces pleasant through the warmest hours, while films, streaming and television provide entertainment in the evening.
