Her Story

Kayhan Kaptan is a 36 metre gulet built in 2005 and refitted in 2018, a traditional Turkish form given the comfort and systems expected of a modern charter yacht. Her length and generous accommodation suit a party of up to twelve guests who want room to spread out without losing the intimacy of a private vessel.

She accommodates twelve guests across six guest cabins, each of which is en suite, so every party can settle into its own space with private facilities close at hand. Air conditioning keeps the interior comfortable through the warmest days, and the saloon offers comfortable seating for shared meals and conversation.

Her home port is Gocek, on the Turquoise Coast, and she cruises within Türkiye. The coastline here offers sheltered anchorages, clear water and a rhythm of bays that suits a leisurely pace, with time in the water as the day's natural centre.

Her crew manages the practical side of the voyage, leaving guests free to choose between swimming, exploring by kayak or settling into a sun lounger on deck.

Kayhan Kaptan carries a considered range of water toys for guests who want to be active or simply to drift in the shallows. A kayak and a stand-up paddleboard invite quiet exploration of coves and bays, while a wakeboard and water skis offer a more energetic option for those who prefer speed.

For time beneath the surface, snorkelling gear is provided for guests to discover the coastline at their own pace, and fishing gear is on board for those who wish to try their luck from the stern. On deck, sun loungers and a bimini sun shade provide shelter from the midday light, and the yacht is fitted with films and streaming, along with satellite TV, for quieter evenings.

Kayhan Kaptan offers six guest cabins, accommodating twelve guests in total. Each cabin is en suite and fitted with double beds, giving every party its own private bathroom and a comfortable base for rest between days on the water.

Air conditioning runs throughout the accommodation, so the cabins remain cool and calm however warm the afternoon becomes.
