Her Story

Queen of Datca is a refined 36-metre gulet, originally constructed in 2009 and comprehensively renovated in 2015 and 2021, embodying the timeless elegance of traditional Turkish yacht design. With a beam of 8.0 metres and a sophisticated wooden hull, she combines classical aesthetics with contemporary comfort. Powered by twin MAN diesel engines delivering 440 horsepower each, she achieves a cruising speed of 11 knots with a maximum speed of 13 knots, whilst her substantial fuel capacity of 14,000 litres ensures extended voyages across the Mediterranean and Turkish Riviera.

The vessel's construction reflects meticulous craftsmanship: her hull and superstructure are built from timber, her foredeck and main deck surfaces finished in warm teak, and her naval architecture optimised for seaworthiness and comfort. Two aluminium masts are rigged with sophisticated sail plan including furling genoas and semi-batten mainsails, whilst electric winches and modern rigging systems balance traditional sailing with modern convenience. The wheelhouse and comprehensive navigational suite ensure safe passage through all seasons.

Her accommodation layout provides five guest cabins sleeping a maximum of ten overnight guests, whilst a dedicated crew quarters with three separate cabins accommodates six professional crew members. The main saloon features an open-plan design with a dinette, bar, and multiple entertainment systems, whilst the aft dining area opens directly to the water, creating seamless indoor-outdoor living. Teak decking throughout and generous sun lounging areas make her an exceptional platform for Mediterranean cruising.

Queen of Datca is equipped with twin Kohler and Kubota generators (35 kVa and 27 kVa respectively), a water maker for extended range, and a comprehensive safety suite including two inflatable life rafts, fire detection and fighting systems, and full navigational electronics. Her refinement extends to modern amenities: air-conditioning throughout, WiFi connectivity, and an array of entertainment systems ensure that relaxation never compromises modern convenience.

A secondary dinghy with oars and pump, plus a deck shower with hot and cold water, ensure comfort between water adventures. The swimming ladder and davits provide safe water access, whilst the deck crane facilitates tender operations.
