Her Story

Sila is a traditional gulet measuring 23 metres in length with a beam of 6 metres and a draft of 2.5 metres. Built in 1986 and refitted in 2022, she combines the proportions and character of a classic Turkish wooden-hulled tradition with the comforts expected of a modern charter. Her scale suits a small group that wishes to travel together without the formality of a larger vessel.

She accommodates up to twelve guests across six guest cabins, supported by a crew of four. The intimate size of the vessel means that guests are looked after closely, and the rhythm of the day is shaped around the company on board rather than a fixed programme. Her shallow draft allows her to reach quiet anchorages and coves that larger yachts cannot easily enter.

Sila is based in Bodrum, the gateway to the Turkish Aegean, and her cruising grounds lie within Türkiye. Days are spent moving between bays of clear water, pine-covered shores and small harbours, with the coastline changing gently from one stop to the next. Her home port makes the start and finish of each itinerary straightforward.

The 2022 refit has brought her interiors and systems up to contemporary standards while retaining the settled, unhurried feel of a gulet. For guests seeking a relaxed, personal voyage along one of the most beautiful coastlines in the Mediterranean, she offers a considered and comfortable base from which to explore.

The Onboard Experience

Comforts Afloat, Simply Arranged

Practical provision for a relaxed days at sea.

Sila's onboard facilities are arranged for a relaxed rhythm of swimming, lounging and shared meals in the open air. Guests have use of the vessel's deck spaces, which are well suited to long mornings in the sun and evenings under the stars at anchor. Her shallow draft and easy access to sheltered coves make it natural to step ashore or into the water whenever the mood suggests.

Her crew of four attends to the practical details of each day, from preparing the boat for departure to ensuring that the living areas are kept in order throughout the voyage. Full details of the onboard equipment and toys are confirmed with your broker before your charter, so that every expectation is clearly understood in advance.
