Her Story

Thalasa is an 18-metre gulet, built in 1990, with a beam of 6 metres and a draft of 2 metres. Her proportions suit the sheltered bays and fjord-like inlets of the Turkish Aegean, where a vessel of her size can anchor close to shore and move easily between coves. She accommodates eight guests across four guest cabins, with a crew who look after the day-to-day running of the boat.

Her home port is Göcek, one of the most convenient departure points on the southwest coast of Türkiye. From there she cruises the Turkish coastline, following a route shaped by the weather, the wishes of her guests and the quieter anchorages that suit a boat of her scale.

Thalasa is a gulet in the traditional sense: a wooden-hulled character with an open, sociable feel, designed for days that move at an unhurried pace. Her deck and living spaces are arranged around time outdoors, with a sun deck for lying in the sun and an aft dining area for meals as the coast slides past.

She suits a party who want a relaxed, personal charter rather than a large-scale production. Her eight guests share a small, well-kept vessel, and the emphasis is on comfort, the sea and simple pleasures.

The Onboard Experience

Time on the Water

Diversions for the sea, the deck and the evening.

Thalasa carries scuba diving gear for guests who wish to explore the waters beneath her, along with fishing gear for those who prefer to spend the morning at the rail with a line in the water. Both pastimes sit naturally with the rhythm of anchoring in quiet bays, and the crew can help guests make the most of each stop.

On deck there is a sun deck for long, unhurried afternoons, and an aft dining area where meals are taken in the open air. Inside, the salon provides a comfortable place to gather. A sound system supplies music for the deck and the salon, and a selection of board games and books offers entertainment for quieter hours.

Guest Accommodation

Four Cabins Below Deck

Two master suites and twin-bed cabins, each with an en-suite.

Thalasa has four guest cabins for eight guests. Her accommodation includes two master suites and twin-bed cabins, and every cabin has its own en-suite toilet and shower, so guests are never far from private facilities.

The layout suits couples, friends and families who prefer to share a small boat without sharing a bathroom. Cabin configurations are as set out above.
