Vamos 1 is a 28-metre luxury gulet that underwent a comprehensive, ground-up renovation in 2021 — not merely a cosmetic refresh, but a complete reimagining of her interiors, systems, and guest experience. Based in Bodrum, one of the Aegean's most storied charter ports, she emerges from this transformation as one of the most carefully considered vessels in her class, purpose-built to exceed the expectations of discerning blue-cruise travellers.
Her hull stretches 28 metres in length with a beam of 6.50 metres, providing a generous and stable platform that rewards guests with spacious decks and a smooth, confident passage through Aegean and Mediterranean waters. A 360 HP engine delivers dependable propulsion, while twin 22.5 kVA generators ensure a continuous supply of power for air conditioning, entertainment, and all onboard systems — including the independently controlled climate systems fitted to every guest cabin.
Constructed in the tradition of Turkish wooden gulet craftsmanship, Vamos 1 combines the warmth and character of her timber construction with thoroughly contemporary fittings. Teak decking runs underfoot throughout the exterior spaces, lending an unhurried, yacht-club elegance to every surface the sun touches. Her profile is clean and purposeful, with generous shading and open social spaces that invite guests to live outdoors from dawn to dusk.
The saloon provides a well-appointed indoor retreat, furnished with a comfortable seating group and a fully equipped galley kitchen, allowing the onboard crew to prepare meals of exceptional quality regardless of conditions. Whether guests choose to dine alfresco on the aft deck beneath a canopy of stars, or gather inside during a languid afternoon, Vamos 1 provides the setting for both with equal ease.
Managed by Golden Yachting, a Bodrum-based charter company with over fifteen years of experience and a fleet of some 600 vessels, Vamos 1 is operated by a professionally selected crew of four — captain, cook, and two deckhands — whose collective dedication to attentive, personalised service is central to the Vamos 1 experience. She is available for weekly charters from May through October, sailing the turquoise bays and storied anchorages of the Turkish Riviera and, upon request, the neighbouring Greek islands.
The Onboard Experience
Living Well on Open Water
Where teak-warmed decks, cool sea breezes, and every comfort converge into one seamless day.
Vamos 1 is designed to be lived on fully — a vessel whose deck spaces are as thoughtfully appointed as her cabins. The aft deck is the social heart of the yacht, furnished with a proper dining table and a buffet-cabinet arrangement that allows the crew to serve al fresco breakfasts, long lunches, and candlelit dinners with effortless ceremony. The flybridge upper deck offers additional seating groups, elevated above the waterline for panoramic views of the coastline and passing islands — an ideal perch for sundowners as the light fades over the Aegean. Forward, a dedicated seating area and generous sunbathing mats invite guests to claim a quiet corner and watch the sea slip past. A sea ladder and deck shower complete the swimming arrangements, making it simple to drop into the water at any anchorage and rinse off afterwards.
For those who wish to explore beyond the swim platform, Vamos 1 carries an impressive suite of water sports and leisure equipment. A 50 HP joker tender boat provides swift and capable shore transfers as well as towing duties for the full range of water toys aboard: a canoe for peaceful bay exploration, two stand-up paddleboards, a ringo (inflatable ring) for exhilarating tows, water skis for the performance-minded, and a complete set of snorkelling masks and fins for discovering the underwater world of hidden coves. Fishing equipment is also carried for guests wishing to try their luck in the rich Aegean waters. For quieter evenings at anchor, a backgammon set and playing cards are available in the saloon. Full safety equipment, navigation instruments, life jackets, and fire extinguishers meet all regulatory requirements and ensure complete peace of mind throughout every passage.
Air conditioning is provided throughout the vessel and available to guests for eight hours per day, maintaining comfortable cabin temperatures even during the warmest months of July and August. Twin 22.5 kVA generators provide the power infrastructure for these systems alongside all onboard electronics. Full-board catering is available through Golden Yachting's menu programme, with standard, luxury, and deluxe options from 50 to 100 euros per person per day, all prepared by the onboard cook and served by the crew with warm professionalism.
Guest Accommodation
Six Cabins, One Private World
Intimate, climate-controlled retreats where comfort and calm are always just a step away.
Vamos 1 accommodates up to twelve guests across six well-appointed cabins — four double cabins and two twin cabins — each individually climate-controlled and finished to a consistently high standard. The 2021 renovation paid particular attention to the guest quarters, with every cabin redesigned to offer a genuinely restful sanctuary rather than simply a place to sleep. Whether guests are couples seeking privacy or families and friends travelling together, the mix of cabin types provides flexible, comfortable arrangements for a wide range of group compositions.
Each of the four double cabins offers a private en-suite bathroom complete with a proper shower cabin — a thoughtful detail that elevates the experience above many comparable vessels in its class. The two twin cabins mirror this quality, offering two separate berths and their own en-suite shower rooms, making them equally suited to travelling companions or younger guests. All six cabins are furnished with full towel sets and crisp linen, refreshed regularly by the crew. Individual air conditioning units in each cabin allow guests to set their own preferred temperature, ensuring a restful night's sleep regardless of the warmth of the anchorage outside. The fully equipped galley and comfortable saloon seating group connect the cabin experience to the broader social life of the yacht, providing a naturally flowing interior living space for guests to gather when not on deck.

Where East Meets West on Water
Vamos 1 calls Bodrum home — and there is perhaps no finer base from which to explore the jewels of the Turkish Riviera. From her berth in this ancient Aegean port, guests step aboard into a world of limestone-white villages, turquoise bays, and pine-forested hillsides that have drawn sailors for millennia. The Gulf of Gokova stretches to the east, its calm, sheltered waters perfect for unhurried days at anchor in bays like Orak Island or the still perfection of English Harbour. To the south, the Gulf of Hisaronu opens into a labyrinth of fjord-like inlets and secluded coves accessible only by sea — among them Bozburun, Selimiye, and the green reaches of Orhaniye.
Further along the coast, Göcek and Fethiye offer a different character entirely: a sailing ground scattered with twelve islands, their anchorages sheltered and serene, backed by the dramatic peaks of the Taurus Mountains. From Göcek, guests can continue south along the Lycian coast to the extraordinary underwater ruins of Kekova, where a sunken city lies visible through clear water less than a metre below the surface — one of the most arresting sights in the entire Mediterranean. Vamos 1's capable tender and full suite of water toys make every stop an opportunity for exploration, swimming, and complete immersion in this extraordinary natural and historical landscape.
Throughout the season from May to October, the Turkish coast delivers warm, settled sailing conditions, warm sea temperatures, and an abundance of fresh seafood at harbourside restaurants. The crew of Vamos 1 know these waters intimately, and their local knowledge — of the best hidden bays, the finest fish restaurants, the quietest overnight anchorages — transforms every charter into something personal and unscripted.
