Her Story

Xenos 2 is a vessel that wears her heritage with quiet pride. Built in 2004 and thoughtfully refitted in 2021, this 24-metre traditional wooden gulet is a living expression of the Bodrum boatbuilding craft — her clean clipper stem and gracefully rounded stern the unmistakable signature of the true Aegean gulet. Constructed entirely from wood and immaculately maintained by her long-serving captain and crew, she carries the character of a vessel that has been genuinely loved rather than merely managed.

The interior palette of blue, white, and warm timber runs throughout the boat, lending Xenos 2 a cohesive, unhurried aesthetic that feels at once traditional and considered. The saloon is the social heart of the vessel, centred on a square dining table surrounded by cushioned bench seating — the ideal setting for meals served from the adjacent bar and galley, where the captain's helm station occupies its own purposeful corner. It is a space that encourages conversation, unhurried lunches, and the easy rhythms of life at sea.

Above decks, the aft cockpit is generously cushioned in the characteristically voluptuous rounded stern of the true gulet, with two dining tables that unite to form a single generous surface — perfectly proportioned for alfresco dinners as the sun descends over the Aegean. The foredeck opens wide and uncluttered, lined with sunbeds and bathed in light, offering the ideal platform for morning swims, afternoon reading, and active guests seeking the water toys stowed aboard.

As a true sailing gulet, Xenos 2 sets her sails whenever the wind allows, offering her guests the rare pleasure of genuine sail-powered progress through the turquoise waters of the Turkish coast. Baseported in Bodrum, she is ideally positioned to explore the incomparable cruising grounds of the Aegean — from the sheltered gulfs and sea caves of the Bodrum Peninsula to the whitewashed harbours of the nearby Greek islands. For a small group or family seeking an authentic, unhurried Blue Voyage, Xenos 2 is a deeply memorable choice.

The Onboard Experience

Salt Air and Simple Pleasures

Where the rhythm of the sea sets the pace for every golden day.

Life aboard Xenos 2 is structured around the pleasures of the sea, the table, and the deck. The aft cockpit — draped in generous cushions and fitted with two dining tables that join into one expansive surface — is the natural gathering place for alfresco meals prepared by the onboard cook in the well-equipped galley. Breakfasts, lunches, and dinners are served with warmth and care by the crew, who take particular pride in the quality of their Turkish cuisine. Fresh air, unhurried service, and the soft sound of water against the hull define the rhythm of every day.

For those drawn to the water, Xenos 2 carries a thoughtful selection of water sport equipment including canoes, water skis, a wakeboard, a paddleboard, a ringo, and snorkelling sets for exploring the rich underwater world of the Aegean. Fishing equipment is also available for guests who wish to try their luck in these storied waters. The foredeck is generously laid with sunbeds, offering the perfect platform for sunbathing between swims and water activities.

Onboard entertainment is well-considered: the saloon is equipped with an LCD television and DVD player, while a Wi-Fi connection, Bluetooth music system, and satellite TV ensure guests remain connected — or delightfully disconnected — as they choose. Each cabin benefits from individual air conditioning, and the vessel carries all necessary safety equipment including life jackets, life rafts, fire equipment, and life rings. A dedicated outboard engine serves the tender operations, ensuring easy access to shore, secluded coves, and the hidden anchorages that define the finest Aegean cruising.

Guest Accommodation

Four Cabins, One Seamless Retreat

An intimate sanctuary crafted from wood, light, and the gentle motion of the sea.

Xenos 2 accommodates up to eight guests across four thoughtfully appointed cabins, each finished in the vessel's signature palette of blue, white, and warm natural timber. The master cabin is positioned forward, occupying the full beam width of the hull at the main mast — a privileged placement that affords an exceptional sense of space and light. A private en-suite bathroom sits to one side, while a small bench seat and generous storage complete a cabin that feels genuinely generous for a vessel of this character.

The remaining three cabins are configured as double-bed staterooms, each with its own well-fitted private bathroom complete with a shower cabin. Two of the three doubles feature a removable raised bunk bed, offering a practical twin configuration ideal for families travelling with children. The third cabin is a straightforward and elegant double. All four cabins benefit from individual air conditioning, satellite television, a minibar, hair dryer, and DVD player, ensuring every guest enjoys the comforts expected of a well-maintained charter vessel — delivered with the warmth and intimacy that only a wooden gulet can provide.

Where East Meets West on Water

Baseported in Bodrum — the spiritual home of the gulet — Xenos 2 is superbly placed to explore one of the world's finest cruising grounds. The Bodrum Peninsula offers a seemingly inexhaustible procession of secluded bays, hidden coves, and ancient ruins reflected in crystalline water. From the sheltered anchorages of Gökova Gulf to the dramatic limestone cliffs of the Datça Peninsula, each day brings a new and unhurried discovery. The crew's intimate knowledge of these waters ensures that the finest spots — the quiet bay before the crowds, the freshest fish restaurant in a small harbour village — are never out of reach.

Further afield, the Aegean coast unfurls its extraordinary variety: the turquoise lagoons of Göcek, the sunken cities of Kekova near Kaş, and the vivid markets and waterfront life of Marmaris. Aboard Xenos 2, this entire coastline becomes a personal itinerary, shaped by the wishes of the guests and the wisdom of the captain. Whether sailing under canvas when the meltemi obliges or motoring gently through the pink light of a Turkish dawn, a Blue Voyage on Xenos 2 is an experience that stays with the traveller long after the journey ends.
