Her Story

Gulet Ya Selam embodies the timeless spirit of Turkish maritime craftsmanship, representing a classic wooden yacht built in 2000 and comprehensively refitted in 2025. This authentic 26-metre vessel preserves the traditional design elements that have made Turkish gulets legendary throughout the Mediterranean, featuring wide deck areas and the characteristic lines that define the Blue Cruise experience.

Powered by a robust 360HP Baudouin engine and supported by dual generators (27.5kW and 22.5kW Onan units), Ya Selam ensures reliable performance and comfort throughout her cruising range. Her wooden hull construction reflects centuries of Aegean shipbuilding tradition, while modern conveniences have been thoughtfully integrated during her recent refit without compromising her authentic character.

The vessel's design philosophy centres on simplicity and comfort, creating spacious outdoor living areas that invite guests to embrace the Mediterranean lifestyle. Her generous deck spaces flow seamlessly from bow to stern, providing multiple areas for relaxation and social gathering while maintaining the intimate scale that makes gulet cruising so appealing.

Ya Selam operates from Bodrum, perfectly positioned to explore Turkey's most celebrated coastal regions. Her experienced crew upholds the traditions of Turkish hospitality, ensuring that every voyage captures the essence of the Blue Cruise tradition that has enchanted travellers for generations.
