Last Chance: Acapella's Final Week on Croatia's Dalmatian Coast

·3 min read

Some opportunities simply don't come around twice. Acapella — one of the most elegantly appointed vessels in our Croatia yacht charter portfolio — has a single week remaining this summer: 22 to 29 June, sailing the full length of the Dalmatian coast from Split down to Dubrovnik. If you've been considering a private yacht charter in Croatia, this is the window.

The Route: Split to Dubrovnik

This is, frankly, one of the great cruising itineraries in the Mediterranean. The Dalmatian coast doesn't reveal itself from a highway or a hotel balcony — it reveals itself from the water. Departing Split, Croatia's ancient Roman port city, you're immediately surrounded by a constellation of islands: Brač, Hvar, Vis, Korčula. Each one distinct. Each one worth a lingering afternoon.

Hvar's lavender-scented hillsides and buzzing harbour terraces give way, further south, to the quieter magic of Vis — an island only recently reopened to tourism, still deliciously unhurried. Korčula, often called "Little Dubrovnik", delivers medieval stone lanes and some of the finest local wine you'll find anywhere on the Adriatic. Then, finally, Dubrovnik. The walled city at the end of the journey that never quite loses its power to astonish, no matter how many times you've seen it.

A Croatia yacht charter does something no land-based itinerary can replicate: it lets you arrive somewhere extraordinary, stay as long as you like, and leave on your own terms.

Aboard Acapella

The yacht herself is built for guests who expect — and deserve — the best. Five cabins in total: three full-beam master cabins and two triple cabins, all finished to a high standard with king-sized beds, wall-mounted televisions, and en-suite bathrooms with walk-in showers. There's genuine space here, the kind that makes a week at sea feel effortless rather than cramped.

The main salon is a particular pleasure — panoramic windows flood the interior with Adriatic light, and the colour palette is calm, harmonious, the sort of room you settle into rather than pass through. Step outside to the aft deck and you have a proper alfresco dining setup, ideal for long lunches as the boat swings gently at anchor in some quiet cove. Up on the wide deck, a jacuzzi. It's a simple pleasure, but drifting in warm water with a cold drink and a view of the Dalmatian islands stretching to the horizon — we'd challenge anyone to find fault with that.

Nine dedicated crew are aboard for the full week. Nine. That level of staffing is what separates a genuine luxury gulet charter from everything else — it means attentive, unhurried service without the slight awkwardness of overfamiliarity. The crew know the coast, know the anchorages, know when to appear and when to give guests their privacy.

Why This Week Matters

Late June on the Dalmatian coast is, honestly, close to perfection. The sea temperature is rising — warm enough for swimming from morning to evening — the main summer crowds haven't yet descended, and the light in the late afternoons turns the limestone islands a colour somewhere between gold and pale amber that photographers chase for years trying to capture properly. Early July, you start to feel the pressure of peak season. This last week of June sits in a sweet spot.

Embarkation is less than two weeks away. These things move quickly — or rather, they don't, until suddenly they do. If Acapella's final week aboard this Croatia charter holiday speaks to you, reach out to our team now. We're ready to talk.
