Perla Del Mare: Final August & September Charter Dates

·4 min read

Some windows of opportunity are genuinely rare. Perla Del Mare — a 42-metre luxury gulet charter yacht based out of Bodrum — has just opened a handful of weeks from mid-August through September, and frankly, we'd move quickly. Late summer in this corner of the Mediterranean is, in our experience, the finest time to be afloat: the heat softens, the crowds thin, and the light turns golden in a way that makes every anchorage look like a painting.

A Yacht Built — and Rebuilt — to Impress

Built in 2010 and put through two serious refits in 2024 and 2026, Perla Del Mare feels anything but her age. The interior design is contemporary and fresh — the kind of aesthetic that photographs beautifully but, more importantly, actually feels good to live in for a week. At 42 metres with a 9-metre beam, there's genuine space here. Six cabins for up to twelve guests, including two master suites each with their own private jacuzzi. The remaining four cabins offer queen-size beds and ensuite bathrooms — one with an additional single berth, useful if you're travelling with a younger guest.

And then there's the foredeck jacuzzi. We think it might be one of the better spots afloat anywhere in the Aegean — soak at sunset with the silhouette of a Turkish hillside or a Greek island monastery behind you, and you'll understand why guests come back year after year.

Türkiye Yacht Charter: The Bodrum Coast at Its Best

Perla Del Mare is based in Bodrum — which, if you haven't departed from there, puts you at the gateway to some of the most spectacular cruising in the eastern Mediterranean. The Turkish Aegean is, frankly, underrated by the wider world, which suits those of us who know it well. Think jade-green coves accessible only by sea, ancient Lycian ruins rising directly from the waterline, and fishing villages where the mezze arrives without you even asking.

A Türkiye yacht charter from Bodrum in August and September gives you warm, settled seas, consistent winds for sailing, and — crucially — fewer crowds than July. The gulet cruise rhythm here is gloriously unhurried: a different bay each morning, long lunches in the shade of the awning, afternoons in the water.

Greece Yacht Charter: Into the Dodecanese

Perla Del Mare's itinerary isn't confined to Turkish waters. Her cruising area extends into the Dodecanese — that scattered archipelago of Greek islands strung across the southeastern Aegean like a dropped handful of jewels. Rhodes, Kos, Symi, Patmos. Each one distinct; each one rewarding in a different way.

A Greece yacht charter through the Dodecanese pairs beautifully with a Turkish coastal leg — and a private yacht charter at this level means you set the pace. Cross to Symi for its neoclassical harbour front and exceptional tavernas. Push further to Patmos for something quieter, more spiritual. Or simply let the captain suggest something off the chart — the best anchorages, in our experience, are rarely the famous ones.

Eight Crew, Endless Toys

A professional crew of eight — captain plus seven — handles everything from navigation to cuisine to water sports logistics. The toys list is impressively thorough: a 150hp tender, wakeboard, waterskis for adults and children, SUPs, kayaks, ringos, snorkelling gear, a Laser sailing dinghy, and even a drone for those aerial shots of your anchorage. Yoga mats, pilates equipment, weights, and a massage table round things out for those who prefer their luxury charter holiday with a wellness dimension.

The crew here isn't just competent — they're the kind of team that anticipates what you want before you've thought to ask. Tailor-made itineraries, exceptional cuisine served on deck, cold towels after a swim. The details that make a charter unforgettable rather than merely comfortable.

Act Quickly — August and September Are Almost Gone

Availability opens from 15th August, with September weeks also on the table. September, in particular, is a month we actively champion — the sea is still warm, the Aegean is at its most dramatic, and you'll have anchorages largely to yourself. This is a luxury charter holiday that suits those who appreciate quality over crowds.

Get in touch with our team at Exclusive Gulets to check specific dates and put together your itinerary. These remaining weeks will go — and once they do, that's your summer done.
