Her Story

Built in 1997 and comprehensively refitted in 2024, Gideon represents the finest traditions of Croatian gulet craftsmanship. This 33.5-metre vessel combines time-honoured maritime heritage with contemporary comfort, featuring a generous 7.5-metre beam that creates one of the most spacious interiors in her class. Drawing a modest 2.7-metre draft, she navigates easily into the secluded bays and charming harbours that define the Croatian coastline.

Her recent refit has transformed Gideon into a thoroughly modern charter yacht while preserving the authentic character that makes traditional gulets so appealing. Twin engines provide a comfortable cruising speed of seven knots with a maximum of ten, perfect for leisurely exploration of the Adriatic. Substantial tankage includes 8,000 litres of fresh water and 10,000 litres of fuel, ensuring extended autonomy between ports.

The vessel's design philosophy centres on generous living spaces both above and below deck. Her expansive aft deck creates a natural gathering point for al fresco dining and sunset cocktails, while multiple levels provide options for both active enjoyment and peaceful relaxation. The traditional gulet profile, with its distinctive stern and elegant lines, makes Gideon instantly recognisable as a classic of the Croatian charter fleet.

Under Croatian flag and based in premier Croatian ports including Split and Dubrovnik, Gideon offers direct access to the most coveted destinations in the Adriatic. Her experienced four-person crew, including captain, chef, and two deckhands, ensures professional service throughout your charter, combining local knowledge with international hospitality standards.

The Onboard Experience

Life Above the Azure

Where Croatian hospitality meets boundless deck space and endless water pursuits.

Gideon's defining feature is her extraordinary deck space, featuring twelve dedicated sun mattresses arranged across multiple levels to capture the perfect light throughout the day. The expansive aft deck centres around a dining table for twelve, creating an ideal setting for memorable meals under the stars. Cocktail tables positioned in shaded areas provide intimate spaces for morning coffee or evening aperitifs, while dedicated sun loungers invite hours of relaxation with views of the passing coastline.

The yacht's impressive collection of water toys begins with a substantial 5.2-metre tender powered by a 60-horsepower outboard engine, perfect for exploring hidden coves and beach transfers. Twin stand-up paddleboards and kayaks offer peaceful ways to discover secluded bays, while water skis provide more energetic pursuits for active guests. A comprehensive snorkelling set opens up the underwater treasures of the crystal-clear Adriatic, and the convenient deck shower ensures comfort after every aquatic adventure.

Interior amenities blend modern convenience with traditional charm. The main salon features entertainment systems including television, DVD player, USB connectivity, and radio, while reliable internet connection keeps guests connected when desired. A professional coffee machine and ice maker ensure perfect beverages throughout the day, while unlimited air conditioning provides comfort during the warmest summer months. Board games and cards offer leisurely entertainment during quiet afternoons at anchor.

Suites Above the Sea

Eight intimate sanctuaries designed for rest and rejuvenation.

Gideon's accommodation comprises eight identical double cabins, each thoughtfully designed to maximise comfort within the traditional gulet layout. Every cabin features a comfortable double bed dressed in quality linens that are refreshed weekly and changed on request. The generous beam of 7.5 metres allows for surprisingly spacious interiors, with each cabin including a well-appointed wardrobe and both 24V and 220V electrical systems to accommodate all modern devices.

Each cabin benefits from its own ensuite bathroom featuring a home-type toilet and practical out-of-pipe shower system. The bathrooms are stocked with essential amenities including shampoo, soap, and toilet paper, while each guest receives a set of two bathroom towels for the week. Beach towels are also provided as part of the charter package, eliminating the need to pack these bulky items.

Round-the-clock air conditioning ensures optimal comfort throughout the Croatian summer, while individual fans in each cabin provide additional circulation. Daily cabin and bathroom cleaning maintains impeccable standards throughout your stay, allowing guests to focus entirely on the pleasures of their Adriatic adventure. The consistent cabin layout ensures that every guest enjoys identical comfort levels, making Gideon ideal for groups seeking equitable accommodation.
