Her Story

Hera is a refined 22-metre gulet combining timeless Adriatic character with modern comfort. Built in 1998 and completely renovated and improved in 2024, she has been meticulously restored to the highest standards while retaining the authentic charm that defines classic gulet design. With a beam of 5 metres and a draft of 2.2 metres, she glides effortlessly through Croatia's intricate island passages and secluded anchorages at a comfortable cruising speed of 8 knots.

Her five well-appointed cabins accommodate eight guests in intimate elegance: one master suite with twin beds and an ensuite bathroom featuring a home-type toilet and shower box, two double cabins with ensuite bathrooms and out-of-pipe showers, and two single cabins convertible to doubles with matching facilities. Every cabin benefits from individual air conditioning (6 hours daily), 24V/220V electricity, cooling fans, and fresh linens changed on request. The vessel carries 4,000 litres of fresh water, ensuring self-sufficiency during extended cruises.

Hera's deck spaces have been thoughtfully designed for relaxation and socialising. A generous sunbathing area accommodates ten guests with dedicated sun mattresses, while a large cushioned sofa commands the aft deck adjacent to the dining table—the perfect setting for alfresco meals overlooking the Adriatic. A deck shower provides post-swim refreshment, and the interior features a comfortable dining area, full galley with coffee and ice machines, TV and DVD entertainment, music system, and reliable internet connectivity throughout.

Her professional three-person crew—captain, chef, and deckhand, all multilingual in English, Italian, and Spanish—ensures seamless hospitality and meticulous vessel management. A 3.6-metre tender powered by a 25 HP engine enables effortless exploration of hidden coves and smaller islands inaccessible to larger vessels. Water amenities include two kayaks for two persons, two stand-up paddleboards, a towable donut for active guests, and a comprehensive snorkelling and fishing equipment package, making every day on the water an adventure.

The Onboard Experience

Days of Effortless Indulgence

Where every moment flows with sun-drenched relaxation and curated island exploration.

Hera's onboard experience seamlessly blends relaxation with active discovery. The expansive sunbathing area, furnished with sun mattresses for ten guests, provides the perfect retreat for morning indulgence and afternoon siesta beneath the Adriatic sun. The aft deck's oversized cushioned sofa and adjacent dining table create an inviting social hub for pre-dinner aperitifs and long lunches featuring the chef's Mediterranean creations, all while anchored in crystalline waters. A thoughtfully positioned deck shower completes the sun-soaked experience, allowing guests to rinse away sea salt and return to cabin comfort.

The leisure equipment collection enables exploration tailored to each guest's preferences. The 3.6-metre tender, powered by a responsive 25 HP engine, opens access to remote anchorages and tender-only beaches throughout the Dalmatian coast. For active pursuits, twin stand-up paddleboards and a pair of two-person kayaks invite guests to paddle to hidden coves at their own pace, whilst the towed donut delivers exhilarating water-based entertainment. A comprehensive snorkelling and fishing equipment suite ensures that beneath-the-surface adventures—whether hunting for grouper or discovering underwater gardens—remain available throughout the charter.

Inside, entertainment and connectivity meet travellers' modern expectations. A full entertainment suite featuring television, DVD player, and integrated music system provides evening amusement, whilst reliable Wi-Fi keeps guests connected when desired. The galley is equipped with professional-grade amenities: a full coffee machine for espresso lovers, an ice machine for crafting refreshing beverages, and the capability to prepare the abundant Mediterranean gastronomy that the chef delivers daily. Air conditioning operates six hours per evening (until 22:00) and continuously when moored alongside sufficient shoreside power, maintaining perfect cabin comfort throughout the year.

Guest Accommodation

Intimate Sanctuaries at Sea

Five thoughtfully appointed cabins designed for rest, privacy, and serene repose.

Hera's five guest cabins cater to diverse preferences and group compositions, each finished with quality materials and dedicated en-suite facilities. The master suite features two separate single beds (1.95 x 1.28 metres each) and a private ensuite bathroom equipped with a home-type toilet and separate shower box—the most spacious and luxurious sanctuary aboard. Two double cabins offer couples or guests seeking additional space a generous bed (1.92 x 1.45 metres) paired with an ensuite bathroom featuring a home-type toilet and out-of-pipe shower. Two twin cabins, each furnished with a double bed convertible to singles (1.9 x 1.4 metres), provide flexible sleeping arrangements and matching ensuite facilities, making them equally suitable for friends sharing quarters or for group dynamics requiring adaptability.

Every cabin is appointed with practical comfort: dedicated storage space, dual 24V/220V electrical outlets for personal devices and chargers, and ceiling cooling fans to supplement air conditioning during cooler evenings. Housekeeping excellence is paramount—cabins are thoroughly cleaned daily and bedding is fresh and changed on request. Each guest receives two sets of bathroom towels and one beach towel per week. Air conditioning operates for six hours in the evening until 22:00, with uninterrupted operation when the vessel is docked alongside a powered berth with sufficient electricity to support continuous cooling overnight.

The ensuite bathroom philosophy emphasises convenience and European standards. All bathrooms are supplied with toilet paper, shampoo, and soap restocked daily. The master cabin's shower box provides enclosed washing comfort, whilst the remaining cabins feature practical out-of-pipe showers. This thoughtful design ensures every guest enjoys privacy and dignity whilst maintaining the efficient use of fresh water reserves—a critical consideration aboard any sailing vessel in the Eastern Mediterranean.

Croatia

The Adriatic’s Best-Kept Secret

Hera is perfectly sized for discovering the treasures of the Croatian Adriatic, operating from her base ports of Split and Dubrovnik. At just 22 metres, she accesses anchorages and smaller harbours beyond the reach of larger charter vessels, enabling intimate exploration of the 5,000 kilometres of intricate coastline and 1,300 islands that define this maritime paradise.

The Dalmatian coast unveils ancient stone towns, crystalline swimming waters, and hidden coves in equal measure. From Split, charterers might trace the Hvar strait towards the lavender fields and vine-terraced slopes of Hvar island, anchor off the Paklinski islands' sheltered bays, or venture south towards the Pelješac peninsula's celebrated wine regions. The journey south offers the dramatic coastline near Korčula, where Venetian architecture meets pine-fringed shores, and onwards to the Elaphiti islands—a secret archipelago accessible only by private vessel. Dubrovnik-based charters allow exploration of the Dalmatian riviera's most celebrated reaches: Cavtat's sheltered harbour, the Lopud island chain's golden beaches, and the Bol beach on Brač, where crystalline waters invite extended anchoring and water-based discovery.

Hera's modest draft and responsive handling make her ideal for the adventure-minded. The included tender enables landing on pebble beaches where larger vessels cannot reach; the paddleboards and kayaks permit exploration of sea caves and rocky inlets; and the snorkelling equipment opens underwater gardens teeming with Mediterranean fish and ancient Greco-Roman amphoras resting on sandy bottoms. Croatian ports offer abundant fresh provisioning—the chef can source first-quality fish from local fishermen, native herbs, and locally-grown vegetables to craft daily menus reflecting the region's 2,500-year culinary heritage. May, June, September, and October present ideal cruising conditions: almost 250 days of annual sunshine, mild Mediterranean temperatures, and significantly reduced crowding compared to peak July and August.
